PH logs 3,462 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total to 115,980
The Department of Health (DOH) reported 3,462 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country on Wednesday, August 5. The nationwide case tally rose to 115,980 while the number of active cases is at 47,587, the DOH said. The death toll also hit 2,123 with nine more patients who succumbed to the disease.
