PHL's almost 116k COVID-19 cases a close second to Indonesian total
The Philippines tally of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases leapt to 115,980 on Wednesday after the Department of Health (DOH) announced 3,462 more infections. For more than an hour, the Philippine total was Southeast Asia's highest COVID-19 tally until Indonesia reported over 1,800 new cases.
